Mission:
At
LMS Productions, our mission is to create unique, intimate
performances that engage
the audience in an exchange of ideas that is both inspiring and challenging.
Each year, we produce two theatrical
performances by professional performers that span much of the breadth of the
musical and dramatic performance genres. Each performance promises to be unique,
creative, and exciting.
The
Latimerlos began this company as a way to combine their love for performance
with their strong sense of individual self-realization. “I love creating and
facilitating original performances in different styles and with different
and talented performers.” Artistic Director Gina Latimerlo reflects. “When
I perform and direct, I am always seeking to truthfully convey the meaning
of every piece so as to change the perspectives, perhaps even the lives, of
the listeners.” Her husband, Stuart, a personal consultant and life coach,
lends his business and marketing expertise as Executive Director, after working
in the retail, small business and world market sectors.
Our
past performances have included a narrative concert entitled Inspiration in
which songs from the emerging classical crossover genre (made famous by such
artists as Andrea Bocelli and Josh Groban) were intertwined with dialogue
for a multidisciplinary experience, as well as The Ever After, which was an
original play by a local playwright exploring what would really happen if
the fairytales ended the way they began.
Our next mainstage production
is entitled “Spiritual Coffee.” A concert full of Gina’s original music based
on sacred texts around
the
world, the evening promises to be a unique musical and multi-disciplinary
event. Belly dancers, storytellers, and guest singers and musicians will converge
on the stage as well. Call now for information on tickets and special group
rates! The show opens in July 2006.
